Every saved count is logged with a timestamp. Pick a starting point and this totals the change per item since then — negative deltas (shrink) show in red, positive deltas (found stock, new stock added) show in green.

Photograph a single fork, glass, or cup and Claude will suggest a name, category, count method, and a starting unit weight to confirm. For a rack or tub of items, skip this and add it manually with "Sight count" below.

Weigh a container once — empty, nothing in it — and save it here. From then on, picking it from the dropdown on the Log tab fills in the tare weight automatically. The actual tub or pan you use can be different every inventory; just pick whichever one you grabbed today.

Each location tracks its own on-hand counts and loss history separately. Item types (and their calibrated weights) stay shared across all of them, since the same fork weighs the same no matter which site has it.

This is shared, team-wide data — every coworker using this page sees the same catalog and counts. Erasing clears it for everyone, not just you. Cannot be undone.
